2021 TMG Year in Review
With 2021 coming to a close and 2022 rapidly approaching, we wanted to take the opportunity to reflect on the past year. 2021 brought a lot of challenges as everyone adjusted to living in this post-pandemic world, but we rose to the occasion in order to provide continuous support and launch new and exciting updates for our clients. We are excited for the chance to look back at the developments we were able to provide our hotel partners and the innovations we have made for the hospitality industry.
Our development team at TMG worked hard early in 2021 to release a major update to TMG’s OneView platform. This new feature better allows hotel management groups to monitor each individual property. TMG’s multi-property hotel partners are more connected than ever to each individual hotel. Some of the features of this update included: the ability to monitor top- and bottom-ranking properties from the group home page, tailor reports to segment hotels by region, customizable tags, or brand, and manage new review and social content in a combined TMG OneView® Feed.
Hoteliers are no strangers to challenges, especially over the last couple of years. That’s why TMG launched the “Hospitality Hero” awards. We wanted to recognize the hard work and effort that our clients put into their properties every single day. In addition to announcing the winners on our blog, host of the Suite Spot Podcast, Ryan Embree, shared their stories on two special episodes of our podcast.
Always at the forefront of innovation and client support, Travel Media Group is expertly poised to give all of our hotel partners the custom-fit solutions they need. Our expanded partnership with Davidson Hospitality Group highlights TMG’s strength and expertise in an industry that relies on digital marketing to increase occupancy and revenue. Our digital marketing solutions allow our hotel partners to completely manage and oversee their online presence on one simple platform. They also provide valuable insights on hotel performance so hoteliers can make smarter operational decisions.
One of our most exciting update launches of the year came in September with the rollout of advanced sentiment analysis and reporting. This feature provides hoteliers with even more insights than ever before. With advanced sentiment analysis, our hotel partners now know not only if there is a cleanliness issue or a breakfast issue at their property, but what’s dirty or what the problem with breakfast is. This information is actionable and gives power back to hoteliers so they can make the changes they need to improve the guest experience.
TMG Learning Paths
Last, but certainly not least of TMG’s 2021 developments, are our Learning Paths. These educational courses were designed to give hoteliers the information they need on digital marketing strategies for their hotels. From social media to review response to reputation management, these self-paced courses are a huge asset for any hotelier struggling with their online presence.
2022 and Beyond
With all the challenges this industry has faced during and after the pandemic, we are confident that moving forward, nothing will stop us. We have witnessed how the spirit of hospitality cannot be crushed and that we will continue to provide our clients with expert digital marketing solutions and exceptional results no matter what is going on in the world. We look forward to all the opportunities that 2022 has to offer us and the hospitality industry as a whole.
